Hi, a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two. Change the Start Up Type to Automatic and click on Apply. Right-click on the wireless Network Connection icon and select 'Properties'. Look for the SSID (aka Network Name) of the Wireless router or access point. Highlight the SSID from the list that you want to connect to. Type the security Key here and click on the 'Connect' button. You should have successfully established a wireless network connection.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US. I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

Check the option 'Use Windows to Configure this Wireless Connection' and click 'OK'.

Regards Anand Hi, yes you will be able to use the Netgear range extender with the Apple Time Capsule, provided you configure the Time Capsule's wireless settings based from the wireless security you have setup on the Netgear router or extender. Just treat the time capsule just like another wireless laptop.

Hello, I'm trying to connect wirelessly from a Lenovo SL410 laptop to my fully functional home network.

I have unchecked the authentication box in network properties and entered the existing network key. steve UPDATE: My home net was set to WPA2 (from my Win7 desktop), which XP doesn't appear to offer. The IE error apparently is due to an old version, I switched to Firefox and there are no further problems.

This seemed to work for me after I disconnected from my router and reconnected again.

However, you may have to go into "view wireless networks", and then choose "change order of preferred networks" in left corner of screen.

None of these changes gets saved.I try to connect, I get a permanent validating identity message and all of the settings I entered are erased.

I can't access the router setup page because Internet Explorer loads, then encounters an error and has to close.

Ok, I just reformatted one of the computer and after i installed all the drivers for mobo i figured i cannot connect to the internet.
