Moving from dating to a relationship

Casual dating is a marvelous way of getting to know all kinds of people, without having to feel tied down to anyone until you’re absolutely ready. That being said, it is important to remember that your dynamic with anyone, regardless of who it is, won’t be as intense or committed as in a serious relationship.

In a weird way, when things get serious they feel more casual.

There really shouldn’t be any need to rush into anything – however, it’s important to be realistic.

Things felt more casual, which sounds weird, but it's true.

We need to keep telling ourselves the basic truths of a healthy and truly loving relationship. While you spend time getting to know someone as a friend, you are able to see more clearly whether they are right for you and you for them.

There is no more valuable friend to a dating relationship than time. Impatience is a sure sign of relational immaturity that will lead to hurt unimaginable.

The wisest man in the bible, King Solomon said, Guard your affections, for out of them come the issues of life.
